I’m happy to announce I’ll be opening this year’s edition of ĦOLMASONIKA (sonic dream) on March 16 at Liquid in San Ġwann.
When the first edition of ĦOLMASONIKA was first announced last year, I wanted to be part of it, and I’m happy to report that the organisers wanted the same thing for its second edition. Not all love has to go unrequited, apparently.
Ħolmasonika’s driving ethos is to gather a variety of acts from the indie, alternative and electronic sphere that have a dreamlike or atmospheric quality to them– which is what draws me to it both as a punter and a performer. It also means I get to have fun on stage.
The team behind ĦS (organised by Eyes to Argus and The Velts) have been an absolute dream to work with, and it’s a privilege to be part of such a beautiful labour of love.
ĦOLMASONIKA 2024 features Cher Camilleri, Eyes to Argus, Shostakovich’s Nightmare, The Velts, Ara Lil Yoon, RagħwaDagħwa, TINA, Dean Wengrow and myself. I go on at 20:15, so let me be the worm to your early bird.
